Nagore Durgha Sheriff, at Chulia Street within George Town's UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the oldest Indian Muslim shrine on Penang Island. Built in the early 1800s, it is dedicated to Syed Shahul Hamid, a 13th. century Muslim saint of Nagore, India.
